I lost or forgot my PIN

  • Updated

Your four-digit PIN is used to unlock your Phantom wallet.

If you're still logged in to Phantom

Reset your PIN from settings:

  1. Go to SettingsSecurity & PrivacyReset PIN.
  2. Create a new PIN.
  3. Use this PIN to unlock Phantom going forward.

To avoid being locked out in the future, export your recovery phrase:

  1. Go to SettingsSecurity & PrivacyShow Recovery Phrase.
  2. Follow the prompts and copy your recovery phrase.
  3. Store it somewhere safe.

If you forget your PIN again, you can restore access using your recovery phrase.

Warning: Never share your recovery phrase, private keys, or PIN with anyone, including Phantom Support.

If you no longer have access to Phantom

If you deleted Phantom, lost your device, or are logged out on all devices and don't remember your PIN, the wallet can't be recovered.

Restoring a seedless wallet requires both your four-digit PIN and the Apple or Google account used to create it. Access to the email alone isn't enough.

Note: If you previously exported your Secret Recovery Phrase, you can import it to restore access. See Restore your existing Phantom wallet.
