This article explains what to do if you see the following error messages when trying to sign in to your email wallet with Google or Apple:
- “No wallet exists for this email”
- “No wallet connected to this email”
- “No wallet associated with this email”
Possible causes
You're signing in with the wrong email
Phantom only supports Google account emails and Apple ID emails for sign-in. If you try an email that isn't tied to your Apple or Google account, Phantom won't find a wallet connected to it.
You used this email for crypto purchases, not to create a wallet
You may be signing in with the same email address you used to buy crypto through an on-ramp provider such as MoonPay or Coinbase Pay. Those services may send you receipts or messages that reference “Phantom,” but they don't create Phantom wallets. They only use your email for purchases.
You used this email to sign up for Phantom newsletters
If you subscribed to updates on phantom.com using this email, it doesn't mean your wallet was created with that email.
What you can do
Try a different email address
If you're sure you created your wallet with an email address but you see this error, try signing in with your other Apple or Google emails. To help identify whether an email was used for Phantom, look for our onboarding email with the subject "Welcome to Phantom."
When you find the correct email, Phantom will prompt you to enter your 4-digit PIN. Until then, you'll keep getting a "No wallet connected to this email" message.
Restore your wallet using its recovery phrase
You can also restore your wallet using your 12-word recovery phrase. Check any notes or password managers where you may have stored it.
If you no longer have your recovery phrase and can't sign in with the correct email, the wallet can't be recovered.
Download your app logs and contact support
If the issue continues, download your app logs and send them to Phantom Support so we can help.
