This article explains why you might see two different usernames associated with the same wallet after importing your recovery phrase.
You only have a profile after you claim a username. A single wallet can end up with multiple profiles if it is restored through different sign-in methods.
Cause
If you originally used Apple or Google login and later restored your wallet using a recovery phrase, Phantom treats that as a new setup. The app guides you through creating a new profile with a new username. Both profiles show the same accounts and balances because they are tied to the same underlying wallet.
What you can do
This is expected behavior. You can use either username and profile. Transfers to either username go to the same wallet.
