Two usernames for the same recovery phrase

If you see two different usernames associated with the same wallet after importing your recovery phrase, this is expected behavior.

Cause

A single wallet can have multiple profiles if restored through different sign-in methods.

If you originally used Apple or Google login and later restored your wallet using a recovery phrase, Phantom treats that as a new setup and prompts you to create a new profile with a new username.

Both profiles show the same accounts and balances because they're tied to the same underlying wallet.

What this means

You can use either username and profile. Transfers sent to either username go to the same wallet.
