Update addresses linked to your Phantom username

  • Updated

Your Phantom username is linked to a set of public addresses, one per network. When someone send crypto to your username, it goes to the address you've assigned for that network.

If you deleted a seedless wallet (created with Google or Apple) and recreated it using the same email, you'll still have access to your original username—but your wallet addresses will have changed. You'll need to update them manually so incoming funds reach the right place.

You might also update addresses if you have multiple accounts and want to direct your username to a different one.

Important: If your username still points to your old wallet, funds sent to it could go to the wrong place and be lost permanently.
