Update addresses linked to your Phantom username

  • Updated

Your Phantom username is linked to a set of public addresses, one per network. When someone sends crypto to your username, it gets delivered to the address you’ve assigned for that network.

If you deleted a seedless wallet (created with Google or Apple account) and then created a new wallet using the same email, you’ll still have access to your original username. But your wallet addresses will have changed, and you’ll need to update them manually so that incoming funds reach the right place.

You might also want to change the assigned address if you have multiple accounts in your wallet and want to direct your username to a different address, either for a specific network or across all supported networks.

Important: If your username still points to your old wallet, funds sent to it could go to the wrong address and be lost permanently.
