I lost access to my Apple or Google account

  • Updated

If you no longer have access to the Apple or Google account you used to set up Phantom, here's what you can do.

If you're still logged in to Phantom

Export your recovery phrase while you still have access:

  1. Go to SettingsSecurity & PrivacyShow Recovery Phrase.
  2. Follow the prompts and copy your recovery phrase.
  3. Store it somewhere safe.

Once exported, you can restore your wallet using the recovery phrase instead of Apple or Google login:

  1. Go to SettingsSecurity & PrivacyReset App.
  2. Select I already have a wallet.
  3. Select Other import options.
  4. Select Import Recovery Phrase (extension) or Import Seed Phrase (mobile).
  5. Enter your recovery phrase.

After this, your recovery phrase becomes the only way to restore your wallet.

Warning: Never share your recovery phrase, private keys, or PIN with anyone, including Phantom Support.

If you don't have access to Phantom

If you deleted Phantom, lost your device, and can't recover your Apple or Google account, your wallet can't be recovered.

Both your Apple or Google account and your four-digit PIN are required to restore a wallet.
