What if I lost access to my Apple or Google account?

  • Updated

If you lose access to the Google or Apple account you used to create your Phantom wallet, your options depend on whether you're still logged in to Phantom.

If you're logged out of Phantom

If you're logged out of Phantom on all devices and can't access your Google or Apple account, your wallet can't be recovered. Both your Google or Apple account and your four-digit PIN are required to restore access.

If you're still logged in to Phantom

Export your recovery phrase while you still have access:

  1. Go to SettingsSecurity & PrivacyShow Recovery Phrase.
  2. Follow the prompts and copy your recovery phrase.
  3. Store it somewhere safe and offline.

Once exported, you can restore your wallet using the recovery phrase instead of your Google or Apple login:

  1. Go to SettingsSecurity & PrivacyReset App.
  2. Select I Already Have a Wallet.
  3. Select Other Import Options.
  4. Select Import Recovery Phrase.
  5. Enter your recovery phrase.

After this, your recovery phrase becomes the only way to restore your wallet.

Warning: Never share your Secret Recovery Phrase, private keys, or PIN with anyone. Anyone who has access to your credentials has full control of your wallet. Phantom Support will never ask for your credentials.
