Close your Cash account

Closing your Cash account is permanent and must be done by Phantom Support. Once closed, your Cash account cannot be reopened.

Important: Phantom cannot close a Cash account with a balance over $1.

Before you begin

Empty your Cash account by sending your CASH to one of the following:

  • A Solana address in your Phantom wallet
  • Another Solana address you control
  • A supported exchange
  • A US bank account (US only)

What happens when your Cash account is closed

For all users, your Cash account is permanently closed and can't be reopened.

If you completed identity verification (KYC) and applied for the Phantom Cash debit card, closing your Cash account also does the following:

  • Deletes your Bridge account.
  • Deletes your virtual account (routing and account numbers).
  • Permanently disables your Phantom Cash debit card.

About your data

Your KYC data is held by Link (Stripe), not by Phantom or Bridge. Deleting your Bridge account does not delete your Link account or your KYC data. To request deletion of your Link account, go to app.link.com/settings. Note that deleting your Link account initiates a deletion request, but Stripe may retain certain data in accordance with their own data retention policies.

How to request closure

Contact Phantom Support through the in-app chat or select the Chat button on this page to submit a ticket. Specify one of the following when you reach out:

  • Close your Cash account only (Bridge account included).
  • Close your Cash account and delete your entire Phantom wallet.

Support will confirm what will be deleted based on your request and let you know when it's done.
