Why do I see "Transactions Disabled" in my Phantom wallet?

  • Updated

If you see the exact message "Transactions Disabled. Your address is unable to transact using Phantom," transactions have been restricted on your wallet due to a violation of Phantom's Terms of Use.

This restriction prevents you from sending or swapping crypto in Phantom. We’re unable to provide specific details about individual restrictions.

You still have access to your assets. To move your funds, export your Secret Recovery Phrase (12 words), then import it into another wallet app.

Warning: Never share your Secret Recovery Phrase with anyone, including Phantom support. Anyone with access to it can control your wallet.

  1. Go to SettingsSecurity & PrivacyShow Recovery Phrase.
  2. Import your recovery phrase into another wallet app, such as Solflare, MetaMask, Rainbow, or Backpack. For import steps, refer to that wallet’s documentation.
  3. Access your wallet in that app and move your funds.
