If you need to change a phone number connected to something you did in Phantom, the number was usually collected by a third-party provider, not Phantom directly. Where you update it depends on which service asked for it.
Phone number used for Cash identity verification (United States)
To change the phone number used for identity verification in Cash, delete your existing Link account and restart verification with the new number.
- Open app.link.com/settings.
- Enter the email address you used for verification in Cash.
- Delete your Link account.
- Restart identity verification in Phantom and enter the new number.
Phone number used for crypto purchases
If you entered a phone number when buying crypto in Phantom through a provider such as MoonPay, Topper, or Banxa, the provider is the one in charge of updating your phone number. Even though the purchase was made in Phantom. Contact the provider directly using the links in Onramp providers in Phantom.
