Manage your Phantom profile
Your Phantom profile is where you showcase your trading activity to other people. It brings together your positions, profit and loss (PnL), and trading activity with your username, avatar, and bio, so other traders can find and follow you. Share your profile across Phantom or on social media, and use privacy settings to control who can see your activity.
You'll need to claim a username before your profile and avatar are visible. See Manage your username in Phantom.
Mobile app #
Access your profile #
Tap your profile avatar in the upper left, then go to Profile > Manage. Your profile shows your positions and profit and loss (PnL) across spot trading, perps, and predictions.
When you visit someone else's profile, you can see their trading activity. If their profile is set to Private, send a follow request first.
Set your avatar #
Use an emoji or a collectible from your wallet as your profile avatar.
- Tap your profile avatar in the upper left, then go to Profile > Manage.
- Tap your avatar.
- Choose an emoji or a collectible.
You can also set a collectible as your avatar directly from your collection. Open a collectible, then tap Avatar.
Change your username #
Change your Phantom username. You can only change your username once every 14 days.
- Tap your profile avatar in the upper left, then go to Profile > Manage.
- Tap Username.
- Enter your new username and save.
Edit your bio #
Add a short bio to your profile. Others can see it when they open your profile.
- Tap your profile avatar in the upper left, then go to Profile > Manage.
- Tap Bio.
- Enter your bio and save.
Connect your X account #
- Tap your profile avatar in the upper left, then go to Profile > Manage.
- Tap Connect your X account and follow the prompts.

Connect your TikTok account #
- Tap your profile avatar in the upper left, then go to Profile > Manage.
- Tap Connect your TikTok account and follow the prompts.

Privacy settings #
Tap your profile avatar in the upper left, then go to Profile > Manage > Privacy.
Profile visibility #
Under Profile Visibility, choose who can see your profile and holdings:
- Public: Anyone can find and view your complete profile.
- Private: Anyone can find your profile, but only approved followers can see your holdings.
- Invisible: Nobody can find your profile, and you can't send messages in live chats.
Linked account #
Your linked account determines which trading activity appears on your profile and where tokens sent to your username arrive. Cash transfers go directly to your Cash account.
Under Linked Account, choose an account or tap Advanced selection to pick addresses from different accounts. Your first account is linked by default.
If you recreate your wallet using the same Google or Apple account, update your linked account so transfers reach your new wallet.
Followers #
Follow or unfollow someone #
Find traders through chats or by searching usernames. Tap their profile, then tap Follow.
If you chose to receive push notifications in Phantom, you'll get notifications for trades made by the people you follow.
To turn the notifications off, tap the bell icon on the user's profile. To unfollow someone, tap Unfollow on their profile. See Manage push notifications in Phantom.
View followers and who you follow #
- Tap your profile avatar in the upper left, then go to Profile > Manage.
- Tap Followers to see who follows you.
- Tap Following to see who you follow.
Browser extension #
The browser extension lets you manage your username, avatar, and privacy settings, including profile visibility and linked addresses.
Access your profile #
- Click your profile avatar in the upper left.
- Click Settings.
- Click your profile at the top.
Change your username #

- Go to Settings, then click your profile.
- Click Username.
- Enter your new username and save.

- Choose an emoji or a collectible.
You can also set a collectible as your avatar directly from your collection. Select the collectible, then select Avatar.
Privacy settings #
Profile visibility #
Go to Settings > your profile > Privacy and choose a visibility setting. Changes apply on both mobile and extension. See Profile visibility for details.
Linked account #
Go to Settings > your profile > Privacy. Under Linked Account, choose an account or use Advanced selection to pick individual addresses. See Linked account for how this affects your profile and incoming transfers.
