Recover tokens sent to an unsupported network

If you sent tokens to your Phantom address on an EVM-compatible network that Phantom doesn’t support, you may still be able to access them using another wallet that supports that network.

Warning: Never share your Secret Recovery Phrase or private key with anyone. Anyone with access to either has full control of your wallet. Phantom Support will never ask for your recovery phrase or private key.

1. Access your tokens in another wallet #

  1. Identify the network your tokens were sent on.
  2. In Phantom, export the private key for the receiving account.
  3. Open an EVM-compatible wallet that supports that network.
  4. Import the private key.
  5. Switch to the network used for the transfer and check that your tokens appear.

2. Move your tokens to a supported network #

To bring the tokens back to Phantom, use an exchange or service that supports both the network your tokens are on and a network Phantom supports.

  1. Confirm that the exchange or service accepts your token on its current network and supports withdrawing it on a network Phantom supports.
  2. Follow its instructions to deposit or transfer the tokens.
  3. Withdraw or send the tokens to your Phantom receive address on the supported network.

Check the token, network, and receiving address before each transfer.

After recovery #

Importing a private key into another wallet exposes that key to another app. If possible, move your recovered tokens to a new account in Phantom.
