Sent tokens to Phantom and they haven't arrived

If a token or collectible (NFT) you expected to receive hasn’t appeared in Phantom, check the receiving address, network, and transaction status.

1. Check the receiving address and network #

Assets sent to a different address or on an unsupported network may not appear in Phantom.

  1. Open your receive address:
    • Mobile app: On the Home tab, tap Deposit > Receive Crypto.
    • Browser extension: On the Home tab, click Receive.
  2. Select the network used for the transfer.
  3. Compare your receive address with the address the assets were sent to. They should match exactly.

If the addresses don’t match, the assets were sent to a different address. Phantom can’t recover them for you.

If the transfer was sent on an unsupported EVM network, see Recover tokens sent to an unsupported network.

2. Check the transaction status #

If the address and network are correct, use a blockchain explorer to check whether the transfer reached your wallet.

  1. Open the explorer for the network used for the transfer. See Blockchain explorers by network.
  2. Search for your wallet address or the transaction ID, if available.
  3. Check the transaction status and confirm the receiving address, asset, and amount.

What to do next depends on the status:

  • Failed: The transfer didn’t complete. Contact the sender or exchange.
  • Pending: Wait for the blockchain transaction to finish processing.
  • Successful: If the transfer details confirm that the asset reached your address, check your hidden list using the instructions below.

If you can’t find the transaction, go to Contact the sender or exchange.

For collectibles, you can also check ownership on marketplaces such as OpenSea or Magic Eden.

3. Check your hidden list #

If the transfer reached your wallet but the asset isn’t visible in Phantom, check whether it’s hidden.

See Manage hidden tokens and collectibles in Phantom.

  • In your hidden list: Unhide the token or collectible.
  • Not in your hidden list: Phantom may have filtered it. If the explorer confirms that it’s in your wallet, it remains there onchain, but you can’t view or interact with it in Phantom.

To access a filtered asset, you can open the same wallet in another compatible wallet app using its Secret Recovery Phrase or private key. See View your recovery phrase or private keys in Phantom.

4. Contact the sender or exchange #

If the explorer shows no incoming transfer to your Phantom address, the transfer may not have been initiated or may have been sent using different details.

  • Sent from an exchange: Check your withdrawal history. If the withdrawal is marked complete but no transaction appears on the blockchain, contact the exchange’s support team.
  • Sent from another wallet: Ask the sender to confirm the transaction ID, receiving address, and network.
