FAQ #
How can I use my wallet on mobile and extension? #
How you access the same wallet on both devices depends on how you set it up:
- Google or Apple: Sign in to Phantom with the same Google or Apple account. Phantom syncs your custom account names and icons.
- Secret Recovery Phrase: Import the same phrase into Phantom on the other device. Phantom syncs your custom account names and icons.
- Private key: Import the same private key on each device. These wallets don’t sync automatically, and the private key is only visible on the device where you imported it.
Where can I find my recovery phrase or private key? #
See View your recovery phrase or private keys in Phantom for instructions.
Can I access my wallet without a recovery phrase? #
It depends on how you set up your wallet. If you signed in with Google or Apple, you don't need a recovery phrase, but you need to sign in with the same Google or Apple account. If you originally used a recovery phrase to set up your wallet, then you need that phrase to access your wallet.
Can I look up a forgotten recovery phrase? #
Phantom doesn’t store your recovery phrase and can’t recover it for you. If you’re still signed in to Phantom on any device, you can view it under Settings > Security & Privacy > Show Recovery Phrase.
