Warning: Don't share your secret recovery phrase or private key with anyone. If someone has access to either, they will have full control of your wallet. Phantom Support will never ask for your recovery phrase or private key.
If you’re using a wallet that supports Solana, Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Monad, Sui, or Bitcoin, you can import it into Phantom using either a secret recovery phrase or a private key.
- Recovery phrase: Imports all associated accounts from another wallet.
- Private key: Imports a single account on a specific chain.
Phantom supports 12- or 24-word recovery phrases. If your phrase is a different length, you’ll need to use a wallet that supports that format.
