Fix Ledger issues on mobile

If you're having trouble connecting your Ledger (Nano X or Stax) or signing transactions with the Phantom mobile app, try these steps.

Connection issues

  1. Close and reopen Phantom.
  2. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and your Ledger.
  3. Check that Phantom has Bluetooth permission in your phone's settings.
  4. Keep your Ledger unlocked and on the home screen—don't open any apps yet.
  5. Update your Ledger device firmware.
  6. Update the Solana, Ethereum, or Bitcoin app on your Ledger.
  7. Try connecting again.

Still not connecting

Forget and re-pair your Ledger:

  1. Open your phone's Bluetooth settings and tap Forget Device for your Ledger.
  2. In Phantom, go to Add AccountConnect Hardware Wallet and follow the pairing steps.

Transaction issues

If your Ledger connects but transactions fail, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure your Ledger is unlocked and nearby.
  2. Open the correct app on your Ledger (for example, Solana for SOL transactions).
  3. Enable blind signing: On your Ledger, open the relevant app → SettingsEnable blind signing → set to Enabled.
