If you're having trouble connecting your Ledger (Nano X or Stax) or signing transactions with the Phantom mobile app, try these steps.
Connection issues
- Close and reopen Phantom.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and your Ledger.
- Check that Phantom has Bluetooth permission in your phone's settings.
- Keep your Ledger unlocked and on the home screen—don't open any apps yet.
- Update your Ledger device firmware.
- Update the Solana, Ethereum, or Bitcoin app on your Ledger.
- Try connecting again.
Still not connecting
Forget and re-pair your Ledger:
- Open your phone's Bluetooth settings and tap Forget Device for your Ledger.
- In Phantom, go to Add Account → Connect Hardware Wallet and follow the pairing steps.
Transaction issues
If your Ledger connects but transactions fail, follow these steps:
- Make sure your Ledger is unlocked and nearby.
- Open the correct app on your Ledger (for example, Solana for SOL transactions).
- Enable blind signing: On your Ledger, open the relevant app → Settings → Enable blind signing → set to Enabled.
