How to use Face ID in Phantom on mobile

You can enable Face ID in the Phantom mobile app for faster, more secure access. If you didn’t turn it on during wallet setup, you can enable it anytime.

Even if you use Face ID or sign in with Google, always back up your Secret Recovery Phrase. This is the only way to recover your wallet if you lose access to your device. Learn more in How to view your recovery phrase or private key in Phantom.

Turn on Face ID in Phantom

Step 1: Allow Face ID access in device settings

1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
2. Go to Apps > Phantom.
3. Turn on Face ID access.

Step 2: Turn on Face ID in Phantom app

1. Open the Phantom mobile app.
2. Go to the Home tab.
3. Tap the more menu (•••) next to the Tokens tab.
4. Select Wallet Settings > Security & Privacy.
5. Turn on Use Face ID Authentication.
