Transferred crypto to Phantom and it hasn't arrived

  • Updated

If you transferred crypto to your Phantom wallet and it's not showing up, start by checking the receiving address, network, and transaction status.

Important: Phantom cannot speed up transfers, recover crypto sent to the wrong address, or access your exchange account.

Before you start

If possible, gather these details from the sender:

  • The transaction ID
  • The receive address used for the transfer
  • The network used for the transfer
  • The token that was sent

These details help you confirm whether the transfer reached your Phantom address on the correct network.

Step 1: Confirm the receive address and network you used

Crypto transferred to the wrong address or unsupported network may not appear in Phantom. Before investigating further, confirm the sender used the correct details.

  1. Get your receive address: on mobile, tap the + button in the lower right, then tap Receive. On the extension, click Receive on the Home tab. Under the address, Phantom shows which network it can receive tokens on.
  2. Select the network where you're expecting the transfer.
  3. Confirm this is the exact address the tokens were sent to.

If the address doesn't match, the tokens cannot be recovered by Phantom. If the network doesn't match and the tokens were sent on an unsupported EVM network, see Recover crypto sent to an unsupported network.

Step 2: Check the blockchain explorer

Blockchain explorers show transactions for your address, including transfers that may not appear in Phantom yet.

  1. Now that you know the address where you're expecting the transfer, open the explorer for that network. See Blockchain explorers by network for explorer links.
  2. Paste the address and look for the incoming transaction. If you have a transaction ID from the sender or exchange, search for that directly.

The transaction status can help you decide what to do next:

  • Pending: The transaction is still processing. Wait for it to confirm.
  • Successful: The transaction completed onchain. If your crypto still isn't showing in Phantom, continue to Step 3.
  • Failed: The transaction didn't go through. Contact the sender or exchange.

If you don't see an incoming transaction for your Phantom address, continue to Step 3.

Step 3: Contact the sender or exchange

If the blockchain explorer shows no incoming transaction for your Phantom address, the transfer may not have been initiated or may have been sent using different details.

  • If the crypto was sent from an exchange, check your withdrawal history. If the withdrawal shows as complete but nothing appears on the blockchain, contact the exchange's support team.
  • If the crypto was sent from another wallet, ask the sender to confirm the transaction ID, receiving address, and network.

Step 4: Check your hidden token list

If the transaction was successful onchain but your crypto is missing, check your hidden token list.

See Unhide a token in Phantom for details. If the token is there, unhide it. If the token doesn't appear in the hidden list, Phantom may have filtered it entirely. In that case, it won't be visible in Phantom.

It's still present in your wallet onchain and you can access it by importing your wallet's Secret Recovery Phrase into another wallet app.
