You can create a new Phantom wallet by signing in with your Google or Apple account and setting a four-digit PIN.
This type of wallet is called an email wallet or seedless wallet.
Tip: Your wallet also has a Secret Recovery Phrase, which you can export as an additional backup. After setup, go to Settings → Security & Privacy → Show Recovery Phrase. Store it in a secure, offline location. If you lose access to both your PIN and your recovery phrase, you may permanently lose access to your wallet.
Before you start
These steps are for setting up Phantom for the first time. If Phantom already has a wallet on your device and you want to replace it with a new one, reset the app first. See Reset the Phantom app for instructions.
If you want to create a new wallet with the same Google or Apple account, see Create a new Phantom wallet with the same email.
If your wallet was compromised and you still have funds you want to move first, see Move funds to a new Phantom wallet when you need to start over before resetting.

FAQ
What is the PIN used for?
Your PIN helps restore your wallet on a new device or after resetting the app. Your Google or Apple account and PIN are both required for email wallet recovery.
Can I check which devices are still logged in to my wallet?
No. Phantom does not track or display active sessions across devices.
Can I use Outlook email or other providers to log in to Phantom?
You can use any email address as long as it is linked to the Google or Apple account you use to sign in.
What happens if I enter the wrong PIN too many times?
After seven incorrect attempts, the encrypted backup on that device is deleted. You can recover your wallet only if you still have another logged-in device or you previously exported your Secret Recovery Phrase.
Can I delete my wallet and create a new one with the same email?
Yes. For details, see Create a new Phantom wallet with the same email.
Can I reset or change my PIN?
Yes. On a device where you are logged in, go to Settings → Security & Privacy → Reset PIN.
Can I change the email I used to create my wallet?
No. You cannot change the Google or Apple account used to create your wallet.
Can I create multiple wallets with the same email?
You can have only one active email wallet for each Google or Apple account at a time. To create a new wallet with the same email, you must first delete the existing email wallet backup.
Can I link my email to an existing wallet?
No. You cannot link a Google or Apple account to an existing wallet.
Does my wallet have a recovery phrase?
Yes. To view it, go to Settings → Security & Privacy → Show Recovery Phrase. We strongly recommend exporting and securely storing it as an additional backup.
