Create a Phantom wallet in seconds using your Apple or Google account—no secret recovery phrase required to start. Instead of writing down a 12-word phrase, you’ll set a 4-digit PIN to protect your wallet. It’s fast, secure, and fully non-custodial—and you can still view or export your secret recovery phrase at any time.
Warning: You can use this login option only when you create a new wallet. You can’t convert an existing wallet to use Apple or Google login.

FAQ
How is this secure?
Your Secret Recovery Phrase is stored in encrypted form. The encryption key is split into two parts:
- One part is held by Phantom.
- The other is stored across the decentralized Juicebox network.
No single party—not even Phantom—can decrypt your wallet without your email and PIN.
What is the PIN used for?
The PIN protects access to your wallet and decrypts your recovery key from Juicebox. It’s required every time you recover your wallet.
What if I forget my PIN?
With a logged-in device, go to Settings > Security & Privacy > Change PIN to reset it. Without a logged-in device, you’ll lose access unless you’ve saved your secret recovery phrase or private key.
What happens after multiple incorrect PIN attempts?
After 7 failed attempts, your encrypted backup is deleted. Recovery is only possible with an active logged-in device or your secret recovery phrase.
Can I reset or change my PIN?
Yes, on any logged-in device. Go to Settings > Security & Privacy > Reset PIN.
Can I change the email used for login?
No. You cannot change the Google or Apple email address used to log in to Phantom.
Can I create multiple wallets with the same email?
Yes. Go to Settings > Manage Account > Add / Connect Wallet.
Each new wallet will use the same email but generate a unique secret recovery phrase.
Can I link an email to a wallet created without Apple or Google login?
No. You can't add an email to a wallet created without Apple or Google login.
Does my wallet still have a recovery phrase?
Yes. Even if you sign up with Google or Apple, your wallet still has a Secret Recovery Phrase. You can reveal and save it at any time by going to Settings > Security & Privacy > Show Recovery Phrase. Learn more in How to view your recovery phrase or private key.
Can I export my wallet to another app?
Yes. You can reveal and save your Secret Recovery Phrase from Settings > Security & Privacy > Show Recovery Phrase. This phrase allows you to import your wallet into other apps.
