Check a token's contract address before you interact with it
Before you swap, send, or buy a token, check its contract address to make sure you’ve selected the right token.
A contract address identifies a token on its blockchain. It helps you distinguish between tokens with the same name or symbol. On Solana, this is called a mint address.
Find a token's contract address in Phantom #
- Open the token's page.
- Scroll to About <token> on mobile, or Info in the browser extension.
- Find the Contract address or Mint field and copy the address.
Compare the address with the one published by the project’s official sources. You can also paste it into a tool listed below to check for potential risks.
