How to manage hidden tokens in Phantom

  • Updated

Phantom may automatically hide certain tokens to help protect you from scams and malicious activity. When a token is hidden, it has usually been flagged by Phantom’s detection systems as suspicious or potentially harmful.

You can view and restore hidden tokens manually. However, interacting with flagged tokens can put your assets at risk. We strongly recommend avoiding any interaction unless you are certain the token is legitimate.

View or restore hidden tokens

Follow these steps to view or unhide tokens that were previously hidden, either automatically by Phantom or manually by you.

In the mobile app:

  1. Tap Tokens.
  2. Tap Manage in the upper-right corner.
  3. Toggle the token back on.

In the browser extension:

  1. In the Tokens section, click the three-dot icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Click Manage Tokens.
  3. Toggle the token back on.

Note: Restoring a token only makes it visible in your wallet. It does not mean the token is safe or verified.

Hide a token

You can manually hide any token that you do not want to appear in your wallet. This can be helpful for decluttering your token list or hiding assets you do not plan to interact with.

In the mobile app:

  1. Tap Tokens.
  2. Tap Manage in the upper-right corner.
  3. Toggle off any tokens you want to hide.

In the browser extension:

  1. In the Tokens section, click the three-dot icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Click Manage Tokens.
  3. Toggle off any tokens you want to hide.

Report a token

If you see a suspicious token that has not been hidden automatically, you can report it directly from your wallet.

  1. Select the token.
  2. Select MoreReport as spam.

The token is immediately hidden. If Phantom later confirms it as spam, it may be removed entirely from your wallet view.

Warning: Never interact with tokens you do not recognize. Avoid swapping, sending, or approving transactions for suspicious tokens.

Never share your Secret Recovery Phrase with anyone — not even Phantom support. Always store your phrase in a secure, offline location. Only interact with trusted apps and websites.
