This article walks you through how to reset the password used to unlock your Phantom browser extension.
- Click Forgot password → Reset & wipe app.
- After the reset, select I already have a wallet.
- Restore your wallet using one of these methods:
- Apple or Google login: Click Connect Email Wallet, then click Apple or Google, and then enter your 4-digit PIN.
- Recovery phrase: Click Import Recovery Phrase and enter your 12-word recovery phrase.
Phantom only uses a password on the browser extension to unlock the wallet locally. Your wallet and funds remain safe as long as you still have your PIN or recovery phrase.
