Change the password in the Phantom browser extension

You can change the password for the Phantom browser extension at any time. This password unlocks Phantom in your current browser and doesn't affect your wallet or recovery credentials.

Change the password

1. Click your profile avatar in the upper left.
2. Click the gear icon (Settings).
3. Go to Security & Privacy → Change Password.
4. Enter your current password, then your new password, and confirm it.
5. Click Save.
