How to change your Phantom extension password

When you set up Phantom on desktop (browser extension), you created a password specifically for login to the extension. This password is required regardless of how you created your wallet (Google, Apple, or recovery phrase). You can change your extension password at any time.

Change your password

1. Open the Phantom browser extension.
2. Click your profile avatar in the upper-left corner.
3. Click Settings (gear icon) in the lower-left corner.
4. Go to Security & Privacy > Change Password.
5. Enter your current password, then your new password, and confirm it.
6. Click Save.
