Blockchain explorers let you view the public activity for a wallet address on a supported network. You can use an explorer to confirm a transfer, find a transaction ID, check balances, or review activity that doesn’t appear in Phantom.
Information on a blockchain explorer is public. Anyone with a wallet address can view its balances, tokens, and transaction history.
Get your wallet address
To view your wallet on a blockchain explorer, you’ll need the wallet address for the network you want to check.
- Get your receive address: on mobile, tap the + button in the lower right, then tap Receive; on the browser extension, click Receive on the Home tab.
- Select the network you want to check.
- Copy the wallet address.
View your wallet on a blockchain explorer
Use the blockchain explorer for the same network as the wallet address you copied. For example, use Solscan for Solana or Etherscan for Ethereum.
- Open the blockchain explorer for the network.
- Paste your wallet address into the search bar.
A blockchain explorer can show the following information:
- Wallet balances
- Token holdings
- Transaction history
Some explorers may also show spam transactions that Phantom filters from your wallet history.
Find a transaction
Every blockchain transaction has a unique transaction ID. On Solana, this is called a transaction signature. On many EVM networks, it’s called a transaction hash.
Important: You can safely share a transaction ID with an exchange, app, or support team when troubleshooting a transfer. Never share your Secret Recovery Phrase or private key with anyone, including Phantom Support.
On a blockchain explorer
If you already know the wallet address, take these steps:
- Open the wallet on the blockchain explorer.
- Open the Transactions tab.
- Select the transaction you want to inspect.
- Copy the transaction ID if you need to share it with an exchange, app, or support team.
The transaction page shows additional details such as its status, time, network fees, participating addresses, and token transfers.
In Phantom
If the transaction appears in Phantom, you can open it directly from History.
Mobile app
- Tap your profile avatar to open the sidebar.
- Tap History.
- Select the history item.
- Tap View on Solscan (for Solana) or the equivalent option for the network.
Browser extension
- Click History (the clock icon) in the lower right.
- Select the history item.
- Click View on Solscan (for Solana) or the equivalent option for the network.
Blockchain explorers by network
Each blockchain has its own explorer. Phantom links to these explorers by default.
| Network | Explorer |
|---|---|
| Solana | Solscan (you can also choose another explorer in Settings → Preferences → Preferred Explorer) |
| Ethereum | Etherscan |
| Monad | MonadVision |
| Base | BaseScan |
| Sui | SuiVision (you can also choose another explorer in Settings → Preferences → Preferred Explorer) |
| Polygon | PolygonScan |
| Bitcoin | Mempool |
| HyperEVM | HyperEVMScan |
Tip: Bookmark trusted blockchain explorers to help avoid fake websites.
Common issues
Wallet not appearing on a blockchain explorer
If your wallet doesn’t appear on a blockchain explorer or appears incomplete:
- Make sure you’re using the explorer for the correct network.
- Confirm the wallet address matches the one shown in Phantom.
- If the transaction was recent, refresh the page and try again.
Token appears on the explorer but not in Phantom
If a token appears on a blockchain explorer but not in Phantom:
- Make sure you’re viewing the correct network.
- Check whether the token is hidden. See Unhide a token in Phantom or Unhide a collectible in Phantom.
- Phantom may filter some tokens that still appear on blockchain explorers.
