You can create a new Phantom wallet in two ways:

• Google or Apple account: Sign in with your Google or Apple account.
• Secret Recovery Phrase: Receive a 12-word Secret Recovery Phrase that gives you full control of your wallet. Write it down and store it securely offline.

Both wallets are self-custodial, which means only you control your wallet and assets. Phantom never holds your recovery phrases, private keys, and does not control your assets. We will not be able to help you if your credentials are lost.

Create a new Phantom wallet with a Google or Apple account #

1. Download Phantom for free on iOS, Android, or as a browser extension at phantom.com/download.
2. On mobile, tap Continue with Apple or Continue with Google; in the browser extension, click Create a New Wallet > Continue with Email > Continue with Apple or Continue with Google.
3. Claim your Phantom username or import it from X (mobile only), then finish setting up your wallet.

Create a new Phantom wallet with a Secret Recovery Phrase #

1. Download Phantom for free on iOS, Android, or as a browser extension at phantom.com/download.
2. On mobile, tap More Options > Create Recovery Phrase; in the browser extension, click Create a New Wallet > Create a Recovery Phrase Wallet.
3. When presented with a Secret Recovery Phrase, write it down and store it securely offline.
4. Claim your Phantom username or import it from X (mobile only), then finish setting up your wallet.
