You can create a new wallet in Phantom using a recovery phrase or a Google or Apple account.

Create a wallet with a recovery phrase
A recovery phrase (also called a seed phrase or Secret Recovery Phrase) is a 12-word phrase that gives you full control of your wallet. Write it down and store it securely offline. You can use it to restore your wallet on any device or import it into other crypto apps.
- Download Phantom from phantom.com/download.
- Select Create a new wallet → Create a seed phrase wallet.
- Follow the prompts to generate and back up your recovery phrase.

Create a wallet with Google or Apple
You can create a wallet by signing in with your Google or Apple account and setting a 4-digit PIN.
Your wallet still has a recovery phrase—you can view or export it later in Settings → Security & Privacy → Show Recovery Phrase.
- Download Phantom from phantom.com/download.
- Select Create a new wallet → Continue with Email → Continue with Apple or Continue with Google.
- Follow the prompts to complete setup.

Start fresh with a new wallet
If your recovery phrase or email account was compromised, create a new wallet and transfer your assets to it.
- Back up your current recovery phrase or PIN.
- Create a new wallet using either method above.
- Transfer your assets to the new wallet.
- Stop using the old wallet.
