Get started with Phantom
New to Phantom? Download the app, create a wallet, add funds, and start trading.
Phantom is a self-custodial wallet: only you control access to your wallet and funds. Phantom can’t access your funds or recover your wallet for you.

Download Phantom #
Download Phantom for free on iOS, Android, or as a browser extension at phantom.com/download.
Create or import your wallet #
Open Phantom and choose whether to create a new wallet or access an existing one.
- Create a new wallet: Use Google or Apple or a Secret Recovery Phrase.
- Use an existing wallet: Sign in to or import your Phantom wallet.
Understand your Cash account #
Your Cash account is a separate Solana account within your Phantom wallet on mobile. Cash is the default payment method when you buy tokens, trade perps or predictions, or send crypto in the mobile app. You can choose another supported token instead.
You can fund Cash using a payment method or supported stablecoins. Your Cash deposit address is different from your main wallet’s Solana address, so follow the instructions for the account you want to fund.
Once your Cash account is funded, tap Cash on the Home tab to view your balance or add more funds.
Choose how to add funds #
In the mobile app, on the Home tab, tap Deposit. Then choose how to fund your wallet.
The Deposit button is rolling out gradually, so some users may not see it yet. Make sure you’re using the latest version of the Phantom mobile app.
Add Cash #
Fund your Cash account with Apple Pay, Google Pay, a debit card, or a bank account. Available methods vary by region and provider. See Fund your Cash account with Apple Pay, Google Pay, debit card, or bank.
Buy Crypto #
Buy eligible Solana tokens directly with Apple Pay or Google Pay, powered by Crossmint. These purchases deliver tokens to your wallet. You don’t need to fund your Cash account first. See Buy tokens instantly with Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Receive Crypto #
Receive tokens from another wallet or exchange. To deposit SOL, ETH, or other supported crypto in your main wallet, follow Receive crypto in Phantom.
To fund Cash with supported stablecoins on Solana, tap any network on the Receive screen, then select the Cash tab and use your Cash deposit address. Follow Fund your Cash account with stablecoins for the supported tokens and steps.
Funding in the browser extension #
In the browser extension, you can receive crypto from another wallet or exchange, or buy SOL, ETH, and other tokens with fiat payment methods using third-party providers. Available methods vary by region and provider.
Choose what to trade #
Once you've added funds, you can make your first trade:
You can also use Cash to spend with the virtual Phantom debit card (US), withdraw to a bank account (US), or withdraw to a wallet.
