Fund your Cash account with Apple Pay, Google Pay, debit cards, or bank accounts
Add CASH to your Cash account with Apple Pay, Google Pay, debit cards, or other available payment methods.
Depending on the provider, you’ll either buy CASH directly and have it delivered to your Cash account, or buy USDC that Phantom automatically swaps for CASH once the transaction is confirmed.
You can then use your Cash balance to buy and sell tokens, and trade perps and predictions.
Fund your Cash account with Apple Pay, Google Pay, debit cards, or bank accounts #
Fund through Stripe in the United States (except New York) and in the European Union, or through other providers, such as Meld or MoonPay.
- On the Home tab, tap Deposit > Add Cash. If you don't see the Deposit button, then tap + in the lower right, and then tap Add Cash.
- Enter the amount and tap Review.
- Review your payment method, provider, and fees. You can change your provider under Delivery.
- Tap Confirm and complete your purchase.
If you already have a Cash balance, you can also tap Cash on the Home tab, and then tap Deposit.
Stripe funding requires identity verification. See Verify your identity for Cash (US) or Verify your identity for Cash (EU).
Deposits through Meld or MoonPay may have provider minimums. If your deposit fails, check the minimum shown at checkout and try a higher amount.
Supported cards for Stripe #
When funding through Stripe, some cards and card networks aren't supported. Visa cards tend to work best.

Stripe funding limits #
When funding through Stripe, your deposits have a limit. This limit varies based on your payment method, verification level, account history, location, and Stripe’s risk assessment. Check the limit shown in Phantom when you make a deposit.
Some limits use a rolling 7-day window. Each deposit counts toward your limit for 7 days, then that amount becomes available again.
Stripe and Phantom Support can't manually increase your deposit limit.
Remove a saved payment method used with Stripe #
You can remove a saved payment method from the Stripe payment dialog.
- On the Home tab, tap Cash, then tap Deposit at the bottom.
- Tap the payment method dropdown and choose a card.
- Enter an amount, then tap Review.
- Tap Confirm to open the Stripe payment dialog.
- Find the saved payment method you want to remove and tap the three-dot icon next to it.
- Tap Remove card.
Fund your Cash account with a bank transfer (US) #
Send an ACH transfer or domestic wire from a US bank account to the account and routing numbers in your Cash account. This option is available in the United States (except New York).
- On the Home tab, tap Cash, then tap the bank icon in the upper right.
- Under Deposit Details, copy your routing number and account number.
- Open your bank’s app or website and use those details to complete your transfer.
Bank transfer funding requires one-time identity verification. See Verify your identity for Cash (US).
Domestic wires have a $1 million limit per transaction.

FAQ #
Why does Phantom say I’m buying USDC? #
Some providers, such as Stripe in the United States, deliver CASH directly to your Cash account. Stripe in the European Union and other providers, such as MoonPay or Meld, don't support direct CASH purchases, which is why you buy USDC instead. Once the transaction is confirmed, Phantom automatically converts your USDC deposit into CASH in your Cash account.
Why is Phantom redirecting me to Meld? #
Meld is a payment platform used by some providers to process your crypto purchases. A redirect to Meld during checkout can be expected.

Can I buy tokens directly with Apple Pay or Google Pay? #
Yes. On the Home tab, tap Deposit > Buy Crypto to see eligible Solana tokens. These purchases are powered by Crossmint and deliver tokens to your wallet without funding your Cash account first. See Buy tokens instantly with Apple Pay or Google Pay.
For tokens that aren’t available through Buy Crypto, you can fund your Cash account and use Cash to buy supported tokens.
Can I buy BTC with my Cash balance? #

How long will my deposit take? #
Timing depends on your payment method and provider. See Troubleshoot deposits into your Cash account.
How do I know which provider handled my purchase? #
The provider’s name appears during checkout and in your receipt. You can also check your card or bank statement, or open the deposit in Cash > History.
