After you set up your first wallet in Phantom, you can add more accounts or bring in other wallets—all managed in one place. You can do this at any time.

Open Add Account menu
Browser extension
- Click your profile avatar in the upper-left corner.
- Click Add Account (pencil icon).
- Choose an option.
Mobile app
- Tap your profile avatar in the upper-left corner.
- Tap Add Account at the bottom.
- Choose an option.
Account options
Create new account
Create a new multi-chain account linked to an existing wallet—either a recovery phrase or a social login wallet. If you’ve imported multiple recovery phrases, you’ll be asked which one to use.
This is useful if you want a fresh account without affecting your existing ones.

Connect hardware wallet
Add accounts from a Ledger hardware wallet after connecting it to Phantom by cable or Bluetooth.

Import recovery phrase
Restore access to an existing wallet by importing its recovery phrase. Phantom supports both 12-word and 24-word phrases.

Import private key
Restore access to a single address on one network by importing its private key.

Watch address
Add a wallet address in view-only mode to track balances and transactions without full access. This is helpful for monitoring other wallets or activity.
