New to Phantom? Start by downloading the app, setting up your wallet, and adding funds when you're ready. Phantom is a self-custodial wallet, which means you control your wallet. Phantom does not hold your credentials or have access to your funds.
Download Phantom
Download the Phantom app for free on iOS, Android, or as a browser extension at phantom.com/download.
Set up your wallet
Open Phantom and create a new wallet. Want to use the same wallet on multiple devices? Sign in to your wallet on each device using the same Google or Apple account and PIN, or the same recovery phrase.
Add funds
You can buy crypto with USD, EUR, or other currency using third-party providers like Stripe, Moonpay, or Revolut. How you add funds depends on your region:
- In the US: add dollars to your Cash account with a debit card, Apple Pay, or a bank. See Add Cash to Phantom.
- Outside the US: buy tokens through a third-party provider. Providers and payment methods vary by region. See Buy tokens in Phantom.
You can also transfer crypto to yourself from another wallet or an exchange. See Receive tokens in Phantom.
What you can do in Phantom
After your wallet is set up, Phantom brings trading, spending, staking, and discovery together in one place. Here's what you can do:
- Trade and swap: Buy and sell tokens the moment they launch, and swap across networks with automatic lowest-fee routing. See Swap tokens in Phantom and Bridge tokens in Phantom.
- Spend with Cash: Phantom Cash is a money account inside the app. Add funds from your bank, send to friends by username, and pay anywhere Visa is accepted with a virtual debit card. See Add Cash to Phantom, Get started with Cash, and Use your Phantom debit card.
- Earn: Stake SOL and keep it liquid with Phantom Staked SOL (PSOL), which grows in value as rewards accrue. Or stake SOL natively to a validator you choose. See Stake SOL with Phantom liquid staking and Stake SOL natively to a validator.
- Go beyond spot trading: Trade perpetual futures (perps) with leverage, or trade prediction markets on real-world events in sports, politics, and culture. See Trade perps in Phantom and Trade prediction markets in Phantom.
