Phantom Cash lets you hold, send, and receive CASH token in your Phantom wallet. This guide walks you through setting up your Cash account.
Activate your Cash account
- Open the Phantom mobile app.
- Tap the Cash tab.
- Tap Enter, then Done on the welcome screen.
Your Cash account is now active. You can swap tokens in and out of it, withdraw CASH to your Phantom wallet, and send CASH to other Phantom users and Solana wallets.
Verify your identity
Identity verification (KYC) is required to access bank deposits, withdrawals, and the Phantom Cash debit card. These features, as well as the KYC, are available in the US only, except NY.
- Open the Cash tab.
- Next to Verify Your Account, tap Start.
- Enter your email and US phone number for verification.
- Provide your full name, US address, date of birth, and Social Security number.
- Submit a government-issued ID and complete a face scan.
You'll be notified when verification is complete.
Note: Only US phone numbers are accepted. For more information, see What do I need to verify my identity?
Identity verification for Phantom Cash is handled by Link, our identity verification partner. Link is a Stripe company. Phantom receives your verification status, not your identity documents. We do not store any personal information except your email.
Activate the Phantom Cash debit card
After your KYC is approved, you can activate your Phantom Cash debit card to spend your balance anywhere Visa is accepted.
- Open the Cash tab.
- Tap the Your card is ready prompt.
- Tap Continue.
- Review your card details, then tap Continue.
- Tap I Agree to accept the card terms.
- Tap Create Card to finish setup.
If you dismissed the activation screen, return to the Cash tab within 24 hours of approval to finish setup. If the prompt no longer appears, you may need to redo KYC.
