View your transaction history on a blockchain explorer

  • Updated

Blockchain explorers let you view your wallet’s full activity on each supported network. You can use them to confirm a transfer, find a transaction ID, or review activity that is not showing in Phantom, including older transactions. You can also check balances and verify that assets were received.

Step 1: Get the address you want to check

Transactions are permanently recorded on the blockchain. Even if you stop using your wallet or the transaction history in the Phantom app does not show your transaction, you can still view your full history by searching your address in an explorer.

Browser extension

  1. Hover over your account name at the top.
  2. Find a network you want to view transaction history for.
  3. Click the copy icon to copy the network's address.

Mobile app

  1. On the Home tab, tap Receive.
  2. Solana opens by default. Tap Solana to expand the full list of networks and addresses.
  3. Tap the copy icon next to the network to copy its address.

Step 2: View the address on an explorer

  1. In your web browser, open the blockchain explorer for your network. For example, use Solscan for Solana or Etherscan for Ethereum. For more links, see Blockchain explorers by network.
  2. Paste the address into the search bar.

The explorer shows your balance, token holdings, and transaction history. This can include outcome tokens if you have open positions in prediction markets. Explorers can also show spam transactions, which you can hide from view.

Step 3: Look up a transaction

If you want to look up a specific transaction, use its unique identifier.

On a blockchain explorer

  1. After searching your wallet address, select the Transactions tab.
  2. Copy the transaction ID from the first column. On Solana, it is called a transaction signature and appears in the Signature column. On Ethereum and other EVM networks, it is called a transaction hash or TXID.

  3. You can share this ID when confirming a transfer with an exchange or support team.
  4. Select the transaction to view more details.

In Phantom

If you recently submitted a transaction, you can open it directly from Phantom instead of searching for your address in an explorer first.

  1. Open Recent Activity to view history for the selected account:
    • Browser extension: clock icon in the lower right.
    • Mobile app: clock icon on the Home tab, upper right.
  2. Select the transaction.
  3. Select View on [explorer] to open it in your browser.

The explorer opens to the transaction details page.

Blockchain explorers by network

Each blockchain network has its own explorer. Some networks support more than one. Phantom uses the following explorers by default:

Networks Explorer
Solana Solscan (other options available in SettingsPreferencesPreferred Explorer)
Ethereum Etherscan
Monad MonadVision
Base BaseScan
Sui SuiVision (other options available in SettingsPreferencesPreferred Explorer)
Polygon PolygonScan
Bitcoin Mempool
HyperEVM HyperEVMScan

It is a good idea to bookmark trusted explorers, just like you would with your exchanges and wallet apps.

Common issues

My wallet doesn't appear on an explorer

If your wallet does not appear on a blockchain explorer or shows incomplete data, check the following:

  • Make sure you are using the explorer for the correct chain.
  • Refresh the page if recent transactions do not appear yet.
  • Confirm the address matches the one in Phantom exactly.

My token balance looks different in Phantom and on an explorer

If your token balance looks different on an explorer, check the following:

  • Verify the token is on the same network and is not bridged to another network.
  • Some tokens shown in explorers may be hidden in Phantom. See Manage hidden tokens in Phantom.
