View your transaction history on a blockchain explorer

Blockchain explorers let you view public activity for your wallet address on each supported network. You can use an explorer to confirm a transfer, find a transaction ID, check balances, or review activity that does not appear in Phantom, including older transactions.

Step 1: Get the address you want to check

Transactions are recorded onchain. Even if a transaction no longer appears in Phantom, you can view the full public history by searching the wallet address on the correct explorer.

Browser extension

  1. Hover over your account name at the top.
  2. Find the network you want to check.
  3. Click the copy icon to copy that network address.

Mobile app

  1. On the Home tab, tap Receive.
  2. Solana opens by default. Tap Solana to expand the full list of networks and addresses.
  3. Tap the copy icon next to the network address you want to check.

Step 2: View the address on an explorer

Use the explorer that matches the network address you copied. For example, use Solscan for a Solana address or Etherscan for an Ethereum address.

  1. In your web browser, open the blockchain explorer for the network. For example, use Solscan for Solana or Etherscan for Ethereum. For more links, see Blockchain explorers by network.
  2. Paste the address into the search bar.

The explorer shows public information for that address, such as balances, token holdings, and transaction history. This can include outcome tokens if you have open positions in prediction markets. Explorers may also show spam transactions, which you can hide from view in Phantom.

Step 3: Look up a transaction

To look up a specific transaction, use its unique transaction ID. On Solana, this is usually called a transaction signature. On Ethereum and other EVM networks, it is usually called a transaction hash or TXID.

Warning: You can share a transaction ID with an exchange or support team when troubleshooting a transfer. Never share your Secret Recovery Phrase or private key with anyone, including Phantom Support.

On a blockchain explorer

  1. After searching your wallet address, select the Transactions tab.
  2. Copy the transaction ID from the first column. On Solana, it appears in the Signature column.
  3. Share this ID only when you need to confirm a transfer with an exchange, dApp, or support team.
  4. Select the transaction to view more details, such as status, time, addresses, fees, and token movement.

In Phantom

If the transaction appears in Phantom, you can open it directly from your recent activity instead of searching by address first.

  1. Open Recent Activity for the selected account:
    • Browser extension: Click the clock icon in the lower right.
    • Mobile app: Tap the clock icon in the upper right of the Home tab.
  2. Select the transaction.
  3. Select View on [explorer] to open it in your browser.

Blockchain explorers by network

Each blockchain network has its own explorer. Some networks support more than one. Phantom uses these explorers by default:

Tip: Bookmark trusted explorers, just like you would with exchanges and wallet apps. This can help you avoid fake websites.

Common issues

Wallet not appearing on an explorer

If your wallet does not appear on a blockchain explorer or shows incomplete data, check the following:

  • Make sure you are using the explorer for the correct network.
  • Refresh the page if recent transactions do not appear yet.
  • Confirm the address matches the one in Phantom exactly.

Token balance different in Phantom and on an explorer

If your token balance looks different on an explorer, check the following:

  • Verify the token is on the same network and is not bridged to another network.
  • Some tokens shown in explorers may be hidden in Phantom. See Manage hidden tokens in Phantom.
