Create a new Phantom wallet with the same Google or Apple account

If you created your wallet with a Google or Apple account, you can delete it and create a new wallet using the same email. This is useful if you want to start fresh.

After you create the new wallet, you’ll keep the same Phantom username as your previous wallet. But your username is still associated with the wallet addresses from your previous wallet. This article also walks you through the steps to assign the username to the new addresses, so that when someone transfer funds to your username, the funds are deposited in the correct wallet.

Browser extension

Delete the old wallet

  1. Open the Phantom browser extension.
  2. Click your profile avatar in the upper left.
  3. Go to SettingsSecurity & Privacy.
  4. Click Delete Wallet and follow the prompts. If this is grayed out due to an active Cash account, see Close your Cash account.
  5. Restart Phantom.

Create a new wallet with the same account

  1. Click Create a New Wallet, then Continue with Email.
  2. Click Apple or Google and follow the prompts to sign in.
  3. Click your profile avatar.
  4. Click Settings, then click your username.
  5. Click Privacy, and choose Private or Public.
  6. Click Public Addresses.
  7. Click a network (for example, Solana).
  8. Click your new address, then click Save.
  9. Repeat for each network.

Mobile app

Delete the old wallet

  1. Open the Phantom mobile app.
  2. Tap your profile avatar in the upper left.
  3. Go to SettingsSecurity & Privacy.
  4. Tap Delete Wallet and follow the prompts. If this is grayed out, see Close your Cash account.
  5. Restart Phantom.

Create a new wallet with the same account

  1. Tap Create a New Wallet → Continue with Email.
  2. Tap Continue with Apple or Continue with Google and follow the prompts to sign in.
  3. Tap your profile avatar.
  4. Tap ProfileEdit Profile.
  5. Tap Privacy and choose Private or Public.
  6. Tap Public Addresses.
  7. Tap a network (for example, Solana).
  8. Tap your new address, then tap Save.
  9. Repeat for each network.
