New to Phantom? Start by downloading the app, creating your wallet, and adding funds when you’re ready.

Phantom is a self-custodial wallet, which means only you control your wallet credentials and funds. Phantom can’t access or recover them for you.

Download Phantom

Download Phantom for free on iPhone, Android, or as a browser extension from phantom.com/download.

Create your wallet

Open Phantom and create a new wallet with Google or Apple. To use the same wallet on your other devices, sign in with the same account.

New to self-custody? Learn how Phantom secures your wallet and why only you control access to your funds in How your wallet is secured and How your funds are stored.

Add funds

You can either add money using your local currency or transfer crypto you already own.

  • Add money: Deposit money into your Cash account using a debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a bank transfer, depending on your region. See Add money to Phantom.
  • Transfer crypto: If you already have crypto in another wallet or on an exchange, send it directly to Phantom. See Receive crypto in Phantom.

Most blockchain transactions require a small network fee paid in the network’s native token (such as SOL or ETH). Learn how they work in Understanding network fees.

What you can do in Phantom

Once your wallet is set up, you can trade, spend, earn, and explore all from one app.
